Raíces (Roots) seeks to preserve old traditional knowledge from the residents of La Fama neighbourhood. This piece compiles the medicinal use of many plants into a herbarium, and was presented on the exterior of the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo MUAC (University Museum of Contemporary Art) for the Jardín de Academus exhibition.
Collaborators: Ethnobotanist Abigail Aguilar, ethnobotanist Edith López Villafranco and the group “Arte Conciente en la Fama”.
