His ouvre contemplates the many possibilities for the formation of memories. As an investigator, dreams and oneiric activity are pivotal to his methods, and he favours drawings as a means to communicate his ideas.
Rodríguez has a master's degree in Visual Arts from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he took part in the seminar for Multimedia II. Part of this degree was spent studying abroad at the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo. Some of the more notable exhibitions in which he has participated have been the X Bienal de la Habana (2009) and Mexico Inside Out (2013) in Texas. He was also a member of the Fonca's Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (the National System of Art Creators) from 2012 to 2015.
